Title: Christmas in Seattle (OOC)
Post by: Ruski on April 18, 2006, 09:58:08 AM
Inorder to help divvy up the diffrent threads and keep track of who's talking to who about what, this is the out of persona thread for the 'Christmas in Seattle' run I'm GMing.

I'm glad Mercy summoned the spirit to get rid of the Halon.

With the door locked, I think we'd be in a little trouble. I can probably hold my breath for 5 (whatever- rounds or minutes) but I don't think we'll be done with the run by then.

So I'm shutting off the Halon, Mercy's spirit is pushing the gas out... things are going well. If only I had a change of clothes, things would be great! ;D

Well, your mother always says bring clean underwear if you're ever in an accident. . .

I say that if I'm in an accident, chances are, I've crapped myself in the process, so why bother  ;D

I don't know if asphixating on halon gas counts as an accident...

It's what the screamsheets would report it as. "A tragic accident this evening. . ."

They are probibly going to say something like that anyways.

depressing news always sells.

Can spirits reallly push air around?

I thought that they just had manifestable powers like guard, accident, manifest, spells, etc. You know, services. . .

What other "non-keyword-powers" do spirits (and elementals) have?

PS. Thanks to wikipedia, I know that halon will first make you giddy and lightheaded, (at about 5% concentration), before it makes you have toxic flourine and Brohmide flowing in your lungs. . . So you die happy. Laughing gas, indeed. . .

He might have even helped us, had we given him a chance to act.

Of course, now I'm curious if Tak is going to want to bring him with us. A payday this large can split just as easily four ways instead of three.

generally it's a good idea to not piss any of them off.

Yeah, he's new to the forum, so I'm not sure he knew the rules. His post has been moved to a new thread, labelled "Overlander's Thread," or something to that effect.

Done and done!

((Well... pretty much, yeah.

A big part of it was people dropped out, and with smaller groups, peoples are vital to the continuance of the game.

Also, the pub was down for what felt like forever.

Given the target numbers that Ruski gave Ingo, I figured he put it off because he didn't want to fail, and just got busy with other things. Those things include getting married, so we don't see him around the Pub much anymore. In a pinch, we could have someone fill in for him, but I don't know how well that would work in any case.
