Inspired by actual events?  :-*

I like it.  I was confused by some of the terminology, considering I still don't have a solid grasp of the Shadowrun world, but I could tell that the rider was comfortable on a bike - the language used for that really brought me in.  I wanted to feel more movement from the bike, though.  I got the impression that the guy was on his motorcycle in front of a green screen.  But it captured the situation and the world really well.

other than the typo in the last line it was a nice smooth opening...

Ok so I got to the thread a little late to see the typo.  But great opening and the terminology is that of a biker and just a regular biker a speed biker.  So definitely a shadowrunner in the works....
