Has anybody seen the previews for Jumper yet?

I think it looks pretty good. It seems to be releasing about the same time in the States and Japan.
I'm curious if it just looks good on the preview and the story is weak or not worth watching.
Any insights from anyone?

It's on my list of theater movies to watch at the moment.

Ya know the movie actually looks interesting. The problem I have with it is Haden Christiansen. The dude can't act.

Well, that's the problem. He CAN actually act- see one of his other few movies as an adult, such as Shattered Glass or Life as a House, and he does have mad acting chops, but in Star Wars he was made to look as if they only emotion he could convey was whiney-ness or "I am wearing pants."

I'm hoping that Jumper is somewhere between those two extremes, because I don't want too much drama in my sci-fi, but at the same time, it's good to have actors who can act.

I pretty much have to go see it since I read the book ages ago - I hesitate about the Christianson thing too, he doesn't impress me, but I can always wait for it to hit the cheap thetre ;)
