Any nerds out there not on it yet? I have some invites, PM me your gmail account and I'll send out an invite.

I'm kind of interested in what it actually does. I'm a big fan of gmail, googlechat, and google reader. I also have an igoogle page, but I don't really look at it much.
what's Wave all about?

Hard to explain. It seems really neat and quite useful in a collaborative environment. For practical everyday use between people it's pretty much an integrated email/chat interface with extra features. If you're really curious I'd recommend watching that demo they did earlier this year. The video is an hour long or so but showcased most of the features.

Google wave is great in concept. Right now it is a slow and unweildly. It would be great if more people got into the PBW threads.

Hmmm, I'm actually pretty anti Google. Don't use their engine, mail, etc, don't approve of their book scanning or satallite pics of my (or your) house, didn't like the way the dealt with going public. Overall I think I'll just stay over here in my little Dogpile, I guess...

I am on google wave and it is has been painfully slow to get an online game rolling. We are playing a 2e/3e hybrid wastelands game. Been 6 weeks and only 2 characters have been created.

most likely eople are not used to checking it as an everyday thing (kind of like I never check my Facebook). I have it set up as one of my home tabs, so I look at it every time I sit down in front of the computer. So far it looks like it has potential.
