Title: A-Team
Post by: kv on August 30, 2010, 02:38:53 PM
I thought we already had this as a topic, but as I'm posting all the movie threads, I was curious if people liked it, or even saw it.

I just hope Dirk Benedict got something out of it since they cut off his character's nuts when they stole the BG name and applied it to Sopa Opera In Space

He has a cameo, and they did a good job with Face.

He was rather upset about Starbuck becoming a woman. I can understand that- it would be hard for one of my icon roles (if I had one) to be stolen and bastardized into a cigar-chomping woman.

Also, the actor that played Murdoch had a cameo, but no Mister T, and no 'Pity the Fool,' whcih I'm guessing is a copyrighted phrase of one Mister T. It was funny, though, the guy playing BA Baracus has 'pity' and 'fool' tattooed over the knuckles of each hand.

Trivia queen says: That would be Dwight Schultz ... also Reg in Star Trek TNG
...and no I didn't look him up.  Sad, really   :P

I think I speak for everyone when I say, You are so hot right now.

:D

Is it sad that I know his name was Lt. Barclay?

I liked reg, his episodes were some of my favorite. And B.A. was played by Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.

Literally, laughing out loud here.

Guess what was running on some obscure network at the crack of dawn here?  A-Team.

I caught the last 3 minutes where they manage to escape yet again - imagine  :D

I didn't care how they defied any laws. That was a fun movie. The guy playing Murdoc, who was from district 9 BTW, had me in stitches. The action was off the wall and over the top. I loved it! Coooome on part 2!

Yeah, the mixup with the passports really surprised me- I just wasn't expecting it. But I thought it was very very funny how they covered for it. :D

Okay, finally saw this.  It was no more or less than I expected, but it was a lot of fun...although I was disappointed with the 'surprise' bad guy.  I always really liked that actor.  I'm skirting details here so as not to add spoilers, ain't I considerate?  That is unless I am the last person here to have seen it, then I'm being circumspect for nothing.

There was a surprise badguy?
Must've missed the surprise bit then.
