Free preview available looks like we are going to get it in parts.
Quick look (I will read later) looks like a short story and the first pages of the introduction to the sixth world. No rules as far as I could see but did have a small part on shadowslang.
Second Preview is up:

Second preview contains the dice mechanic, which is similar to 4th edition. Attribute + Skill + Modifiers.
I'm interested to see how they do initiative.
Introduces the concept of 'limits' which mean that you can't get 500 successes with a pistol and take out a armored helicopter anymore. Most skills have a physical or mental limit (based of your attribute), while weapons have a limit based on how accurate/damaging they are, so there are actual reasons to upgrade your guns over time.
They also clarified some of the language in the Edge rules (which needed it), and they took out the name 'Finger of God' for the rule burning all your edge to survive an impossible situation.

I just hope one of the next previews will contain stuff about the Matrix. I can hopes.

Interesting stuff in there- not as happy as return of priority system character creation, but awesome anyway.

Heh, quick note- Shadowrun's fifth edition is out (and I really like the look of it), but I was looking through the SR5 quickstart rules, which you can download here:
http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/116662/Shadowrun-Fifth-Edition-Quick-Start-Rules
Toward the back of the quickstart rules is a simple encounter- Food Fight (version 5)!
Here's the part that cracked me up-turn to page 21, and it might amuse you, too:
It looks a little bit like an image I'm familiar with:

Apparently I'm not the only one who's tired of running back to the stuffer shack, the quickstart rules take place in a McHughs. I am very amused by this, I can't tell you how much.

Hahahah that's so awesome! Great minds think alike? Perhaps you have a possible future in RPG development?

I don't know about either of those- they probably got it from the same 1st edition book that I did. :)
It was kind of a cool coincidence, and made me wonder if we have any spectators here at the Pub.

Well we do have a few lurkers, so it's a possibility!

Originally, I was going to recreate a scene that Ruski ran for me when I was first playing, after we had done Back to the Shack with a few characters and got our confidence up, he took us to Nuko-Burger, where everything was decorated with Rad symbols, and when I dug through old books to look it up, I discovered that Ruski had made up the entire thing.
So I revived McHughs, and even spent some thought on why it wasn't called McDonalds anymore- although it obviously was the same place. I played with the mascot (thank you, attractive Japanese girl in cosplay as Ronald), and I think I made it pretty passable. It is funny, the blue dots in my one are where the security guards were standing- it was marked on the map. In the new version, those same spots are marked, but they're wireless ordering kiosks. So I think it's more of a 'all streams lead to the ocean' type thing, where I ripped off an old map, and someone else had the same idea.
It's still cool, though.

Revised:
Thought I would go ahead and revise this entry as it is no longer accurate. After finally getting hold of Storm Front what they did to cyber/bioware in 5th edition makes sense. I also thought I would post some links I have found in regards to SR tabletop in general. These are links to some podcasts. Ironically the podcasts make mention of each other which is why I found them. So here you guys go.
