Sorry, chummer, but you are wrong. Ents are creatures, not plants. Treebeard even makes a point of saying that he is not a tree. The initial description of the ents in The Two Towers would seem to bear this out. The movies made them into walking trees.

the apearance i got was that they are treants and if they respond same as in ad&d they respond well to plant growth it acts as a super healing spell so i would say they are plant in nature also consider the fact that they burned extremly well

CHummer, those books sucked. Good story, bad writing. Tolkien was an english professor, and it shows.
