Comming out of the rest room, doing up his zipper, a young-ish, badly shaved guy in a black T-shirt with the text "WWBMD?" and leather pant enters the scene.

Looking up, and saying "whatta frag?!"

(I loose initiative this round, being surprised).

You do lose initiative, and the guys with shotguns aren't happy to see any new suprises. This robbery is going south fast, so they've decided to start shooting shotguns and getting the hell out of there with the money.

Resisting 5M with 5 body with a leather jacket (-2 impact)(8, 6, 5, 5, 3) five successes. You get in a punch that clips his chin, but it seems like it makes him more mad than anything.

With only one sucess on his side, I think I'm going to go hells-bells, and try to pull off a dodge.

I got four combat pool left, and I'll need two sucesses, target number four to pull it off.

Okay, so I pulled off the dodge. then It's my turn again at inititive pass 1

Unfortunately, he gets to shoot before you do that. The nekkid kid with the pants-throwing skills who started sucker-punching him isn't bringing out the good sportsmanship skills he was supposed to have learned in the boxing ring.

He is a little dizzy, but he drops the shotgun more or less level with your chest, and fires.

I've got no combat pool left, but I do have my ninja level-4 skill to rely on...

uh... two sucesses. not going to win any dance-dance revolution compatitions with that... but it could give me another shot at his shotgun...

He takes another bad hit to the head, and looks a little more dizzy than pissed off. He is not having the best day ever. Of course, neither are you.

well... that'll stage it down to 'M' and that's about as good as I could hope to do from that.

(Now, correct me if I'm wrong... but... I went at 11... and then he swung at me... wouldn't that make his first inititive pass less than 11? or, even if he tied with me; at 11, the dammage from the blow should have knocked him down to something past 11? like 9 or something... so he should have just had just the one attack, right?
so:
inititive pass 11: I go. I punch him and throw my pants
inititive pass 8 (or whatever): he punches at me, I pull off a cool dodge
init pass 1: I get to punch him again.
Meelee combat is suppose to be a full turn action right? so, you can't Punch, then shoot... right? Just checking. I'm okay with it either way though...

He had a delayed action, waiting for you to do something stupid. i.e. You go, throw pants, hit him, he responds instantly, because of the delayed action. You dodge the hit.
(all of that at Init Pass 11)

7(-2 because of wounds, so 5): he gets to go again. He realizes that you know some kung-fu or something and the dizzyness in his head is the same kind when his manager tells him "lie down! give up!", so he shoots you.

1: You go again, hitting him again and doing some severe damage to someone who already has brain damage.

That's the way I had it worked out.

The rest of the orks:

Hearing gunshots inside the store, on what was supposed to be the simplest of cash-pickups (this isn't the first time they've robbed this place, and not the first time they've gotten away with it) another ork lumbers out of the van and approaches the store.

The guy getting cash from the clerk figures the stupid fragger double-crossed them, and shoots him, point blank with the sawed-off.
Shotguns:3 TN#: 3  5,4,4 Three Successes. 5S
Clerk: Resisting Damage (body 3, no armor) 12, 4, 3, 1. One success.
Clerk takes Deadly Damage.
The shotgun blast cuts the clerk in half, spraying his blood all over the soy-baccon cigarettes behind him. He falls behind the counter, making gurgling sounds that seem to be him trying to scream.

The ork waiting near the door panics, trying to figure out who is the bigger threat, the elven girl ninjitsu-ing one guy, or the naked guy who is beating the crap out of his best fighter. He is unable to decide, and loses his action for this round.

The one wearing the elven girl's molten hot dinner on his face has decided that she's a huge threat, and points his sawed-off at her.
Shotgun 3, TN#3 (+1 for nuclear-hot burrito in his eyes, +3 for wounds):
5, 4, 2 (No Successes)

New round. Roll Init.

Well, no matter how her combat resolves; I'm going to still be facing this mo-fo who shot me.
Okay. for reals this time.

Init 1D6+5 (Roll: 4) 9 (-2 for wounds) so Init / pass 7 is my final resting place. (it's my lucky number... but will it be fast enough to beat the evil ork in front of me?

He's still on his feet, but even standing still, his knees are knocking, and he looks like he's wishing his coach would throw in the towel.

This time, I pop the snap blades.

You pop out your blades, and the Ork looks scared for the half-second it takes for you to shove them into him. He doesn't go down, but that's okay, because you go again before he does, slicing his throat with the blades. His hand goes to his throat as he falls backwards, gurgling and legs twitching.

Unfortunately, this also means that everyone in the store knows what a bad mother-fragger you are.

Okay, while he's wavering I'll do the only thing I can do, start talking.

"Ding Ding Ding! that's it, round over. return to your corners!"


perhaps he'll be punch-drunk enough to spend some time thinking about it, or walk out of the store, or drop his gun or something.

A lightning bolt the size of a moving van flashes past you in the space between you and the other attacker. You can feel electricity dancing between your fillings, and you hair stands on end, but it doesn't do any other damage to you.

From inches away, watching it's affect on your mugger is... something no video game has yet to capture. The bolt of intenst energy arcs through him, and you see the equivalent of him being put to death by electrocution three time- his eyeballs actually pop as the fluid within them overheats, he craps his pants (and the doo-doo is immediately fried to stone) and his body starts twitching with spasms that would make the most fragged decker proud.

The electricity is only there for a moment, and when it's gone, all that's left is that purple streak through your vision, that you try to blink away. It might take a while for your eyes to adjust.

The thug in front of you twitches for a moment before going down almost board-stiff, feet pulling out of his boots, which are cooked and melted to the floor. the shotgun in his hands has had some curious color changes, and you're pretty sure that the sight of his eyeballs popping is going to haunt your dreams for a while. A long while.

"I told you ya' should have gone back to your corner..."

OK, well, I'm going to use my wonderful shiny exclusive Lightning Bolt.

Targeting orks in following order:
1) One with a gun pointed at me.
2) One in the door or just inside, trying to make sense of the situation.
3) Any other invader not in close combat.
4) Any other ganger, at random.

Force 7, exclusive action, cast at L damage level, entire spell pool to cast.
Target# 4.

Remeber that elemental manipulation is resisted using half impact, and mind any secondary damage, if you can be bothered.

Drain is 3M, due to limitation, Willpower rolls 1 2 3 3 9 9
Drain ignored.

Combat pool set on dodge.

'Suddently there is a bright flash and a loud crack-DOOM is heard as a lightning bolt flashes through the store.

Uhh... as your 7D+1 Lightning bolt rushes from attacker to attacker, the guys outside the store suddenly realize they left the stove on at home, jump back into the van in a pile. The van is already moving by the point they get the doors open, and fishtails in the snow on the ground as it pulls out into the street.

Inside the store, things are not so pretty. The three remaining goons all take deadly damage
(I rolled for it, but it's a very sad thing for each guy to get ONE success)
from the spectacular lightning bolt that strikes each of them. The store smells of ozone and cordite, but after the crackle of the lightning fades, there's a moment of silence.

The floortiles are fused around the feet of the three goons stuck, and even though they're down, thier shoes are still melted to the floor... and smoking.

"Look! See what I told you about static safty!... Uh... I'm going to go put my pants back on now..."

I'm going to quickly bind my wounds while getting dressed, and filling up a cup of my caf-pow from my new and improved side... I guess I don't need to pay, So I'll grab my tools and leave it at that. oh, and i'll drop the discolored shotgun in with my tools. that'll make for good proof for thoes people that don't believe my story.

I'll give that parting advice to the mage who looks a bit 'shocked' (pun intended) at his own handywork.

actually... is the bag of money still there? I'll look over the counter at the blown up clerk and ask the other store patrons:

"Uh... Waste-not, want not... you chummers want to split this? I mean... not the poor dead guy, the bag of cash... kuz normally I get paid to take on odds and ends like this... and I'd hate to work for free... "
