Heh, it would be interesting to present my runners with a riddling puzzle that didn't involve a locked door, or a countdown until enemy reinforcements.

They are smart puzzlers when playing Fantasy RP games, but that goes right out the window when I run SR. . .

you could have them tied to a chair with a mini gun to their foreheads if they don't get the puzzle solved in time :)

Yeah... puzzles are harder to do in Shadowrun.

Although, for some reason, my same exact group can put together puzzles when we're playing D&D.

Strange, that was what my next game was going to be about. One of the runners is an ex-vatican intelligence officer. He was in Chicago when the CZ went up and he got out somehow and went rogue. Now the vatican wants to know how he got out, why he got out, and the details of some mysterious mission that he has no memory of. I do so love the "hunted" and "amnesia" flaws. ;)

That's the order of St. Sylvester you are thinking of. With this PC, I was going to mix in a Vatican hit team and some flesh form wasp spirits. If we ever get another game going, it should be fun.

the worst you could have had after you was the people from the churches back in the days...i mean to be whipped out for just believing what you wanted and having no say or you would be excuted thats kinda harsh...but they had those that hid in the shadows n attacked when the people who were killing {i forgot the names of them} they would in turn fight back...wonders if they had fire back in the day.... ;)
