How many does he have total?

I always liked the idea of Dr. Who incorporation continuity flaws into the show itself.

"The main lead just quit!!!"

"What? How can we make the show now?"

"Wait, let's get another guy to play him- and say the old guy died!"

"Wait, have a different Doctor? Why would the show be called Dr. Who then?"

"Okay, have it be the same guy, but a different life!"

"Hey, that works great! We can do that a bunch of times!"

Didn't they stick with that doctor for a while, though?

I thought they had...

And even if they didn't Dr. Who incorporates ALL of the content, unlike comic books and star trek.

According to the geek squad the Dr gets nine incarnations.  Counting only the various series and not movies this makes 10.  Now assuming the first incarnation is a gimme - the face he was born with - this is in fact the 9th regeneration even if its the 10th face - and therefore his last.

I fell asleep for the rest of this discussion....

i'd always head 13 or 15

thats why I'd NEVER limit something like that, just have it be "unknown"
like squirrels in Conker's Bad Fur Day they have "as many lives as they think they can get away with"

I really liked the last episode. It's really neat that the royal family are werewolves  ;D And Rose going around the whole time going," I am not amused" was funny. Alot better than the first 2

Nope it didn't fly. The Victoria that came in contact with the 'werewolf' was all ready a widow.  She'd all ready had her kids (all 9 of them iirc) so it was immaterial if she got tainted with an alien cell or not - it died with her....

Ain't I a killjoy?

actually they mentioned that she would bite her children
she was a widow in the show already aswell
they never said it was passed from her by blood

If that's the case she only ever managed to bite a couple.  She had one son die of a blood disorder (haemophelia) and one (or perhaps two)  passed it on - in this case to the Russian Royal Family.  So if there were werewolves IMO they were slaughtered at Ekaterinberg...

Now there's an interesting idea for a World of Darkness run....

Ahhh... my Dad decided to buy himself a hi-def tv, blu-ray player, xbox360, and tivo series three. It's good to be the son of a tech nerd.

Now I have two tuners, and can record any two things on at exactly the same time. :D
