Actually, if you have one removed due to testicular cancer, they put a 'fake' in there, just so you don't freak out.

Just like people who have thier legs amputated- they put fake feet at the end of your bed, so you won't freak out when you wake up.

Actually they don't have to be matellic to be cyber. I'd probably design them out of some sort of firm (but not really hard) silicious gel, nut unlike what used for breast implants, though with a bit more... body, wouldn't you?

Yeah, I know, but it sounded better to say it like that. I would have to say though, that any cybernetic part would have a t least some metal in it, but I do think that the majority of at least higher end parts would be hard plastics and other materials. There's a reason Betaware costs so much and looks so good, don't you know.

It could have ceramics- those are fairly common in high-end electronics.

Oh, and ROOT, would silicon wrapped around SemTex have the consistency you'd be looking for? ;D

Not knowing much about the consistency of SemTex, I cannot say for sure.
But sillicon gel (not just silicon, which is hard and fairly metallic at room temperatures) encasing a smallish load of SemTex, encasing a remote detonator... Why yes, I do beielve it would.
Just make sure to get the good stuff, not the cheap stuff that reacts to heating.

You should also make sure to avoid currents.

I actually think that second one would have the same effects as the bomb we're looking at.

hahahaha... you know what? I jsut pictured what a Johnson would tell a runner- "We've implanted a explosive device in your body. If you don't finish this run, we'll detonate it."

The runner high-tails it to his street doc, telling him to search for the kink bomb (or cranial nuke) that he needs to get out- the Doc just can't find it! So the runner calls J's "bluff" and gets WHAM!
