Yeah, whatever. We've butted heads about movies and games before, so I wouldn't mind if you didn't like a movie I liked, or if I liked something and you didn't.

No offense, J-man. I just don't know you well enough to trust your opinion on movies and stuff.

Although, in the mean time (while you two were idly cracking your knuckles and making threats) Ruski downloaded it (I mean... totally legally purchased it from a russian site, and is happily enjoying paying royalties on it), and he said it was pretty good too.

So now I'm going to see it. For free, but I'm going to see it.

Uhhh... I have what you might call an anti-establishment personality. Basically the best way to get me to do something is to tell me that it can't be done. Conversely, if you tell me I have to do something, it makes me want to not do it, just to be a jerk.
