However I do prefer that people use the proper and correct spelling.

Well, that, or I just like giving Gabe drek about it, and am only commenting upon how the rest of you lot spell as a sort of smokescreen.

In my (not particularly humble) opinion, the british spelling (colour, favour, armour) is to be prefered, but seeing as even I can't be bothered to use it most of the time, I'm not going to insist  upon it in any way.

Well, given that I don't personally know any grammar nazis, I'm afraid I don't really have any ideas. Maybe a crossed pen and ruler?
I do know a single grammar fascist, and for her I'd probably suggest a tiny version of the faces (pronounced with a hard 'C', as in fakes, but with the vowels as in face).
