Just found a teaser for a CG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.  I think I'm going to reserve judgement until I find out more, the Turtles looked...different.  Less 'bulky'.

yea, I saw it too. Might be interesting. But you're right, they didn't give us any idea on what the story would be like. Animation looked cool.

Um... what spoilers???

Anyway, what is this ting going to be rated? It looks kind of kidish, which is what I would have thought it would be, but the music and moves looks like something out of Batman Begins.

I think the original artists (the ones who sued New Line over the travesty of thier work featuring Corey Feldman) are re-making the series for the big-screen. The comics were a lot more GRAPHIC than the television shows and movies ever were.

For instance: The turtles rescuing April O'Neil at the beginning of the movie? In the comic, they KILLED her attackers. with blood splashes and everything.

I'm actually looking forward to this movie- I think the artists will do incredible things with it. I think they're hoping for a PG-13 rating (being that... you know... that's where the money is)

Oh, no doubt. But I would rather see them true to the original idea and not the drekky cartoon of the 80's. I want to see some blood and violence. You know, the kind of things NINJAS do. ;)
