The Prestige
« on: March 04, 2007, 01:20:37 AM »

Ok... in the right thread this time..

Ok. Normally I come on complaining about shows or what not. But this time is diffrent.

The movie the Prestige ROCKS!!
The movie has alot of twists to it, as it should since its about magicians/illusionists/entertainers. They have alot of good characters played by Very good actors. David Bowie even plays Nikoli Tesla and does it in such a great manor you sometimes stop and wonder.

In short the movie is about two magician apprentices whom after an accident, begin trying to one up each other, and from there moving on to sabotaging each other in horrible ways trying to ruin the others show. I would suggest the movie for people who like average seeming movies with a seemingly sci-fi twist, and if they want a movie that can surprise them rather then being the same story retold the same way in a diffrent style. A must see.

Yeah, I agree that this movie freaking rocks.

Also, how can you pass up an opportunity to watch Batman vs. Wolverine?
(Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman?) Who will win?!?!?!

Batman would win. He would just freeze Wolverine in something and then bury him in cement which he would then launch into low earth orbit.

Oh wait! That wasn't a real question was it? Oh! Ok.

I haven't seen this movie yet. ;)

Well, Batman always wins. Even in fights against Superman, who is physically superior, Batman... he's Batman. He's super smart, and also a bad person, so he'll just win.

Awesome movie, though. Well worth the price of rental.

Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny? Not so much. But go rent the Prestige.
