Hi everyone I am new. I know a lilttle bit about Shawdow Run. I think it's really cool. So if anyone can give me some pointers that would be awesome....

Well, first of all, welcome to the pub.

Second of all, what kind of pointers would you like, and perhaps, which edition? Certain things stay the same the more they change, but not all of them, and while I'm sure everyone here would love to be of assistance, More info'd be really useful.

Alright well I guess the cat's outta the bag.  Nike Shock is my girl.  She is new, plays 3rd edition with me.  Her and I have a unique game going on.  Most of the time its very simple runs, and HEAVY HEAVY roleplaying....Which I think is part of the reason she likes the game so much.  She has done the infamous Stuffer Shack run and survived (with a little help from my character "Tiger").  We are gearing up for a slight bit bigger game adding my lil bro to the mix.  I personally could use a few run ideas myself.  I have blackjack's 501 Burnedout Shadowrun's, but most of those require a larger group.

Welcome to the Pub, Nike. We're always glad to have new faces around, especially when those new faces are nice to the old faces.

This is the place to get pointers and runner advice, so if you want to know something, ask anywhere, and we'll do our best to answer.

(Krazi- I have several CDs worth of runs for you, so don't worry about content)

Hoi Nike! Nice to see a new face around the place. Of course, since you ARE new, you have to buy the next round. So pony up the credstick and I'll have the usual 5 beers with a Twinkie chaser.

Oh, and also, what ROOTless said about being a bit more specific, do tell. Just ask Krazi, we're certainly willing to give a bit of advice. Of course, in the shadows, that advice will tend to cost ya, so again, pony up that credstick, chummer.

Thanks KV...be sure to pass those cd's on over.  I'm always down for some new runs.  My lil bro just called and wanted to know when we were going to play.  So hopefully we'll be able to slide something in this weekend.  It all depends.

<Edit: This is to Gabe...she doesn't understand the whole twinkie thing, I tried explaining it to her, but she thought we were talkin about man sausages...but now I think she's got the drift.>

Well, that WOULD be a hell of a way to greet a new runner, wouldn't it? But no, Nike, it has NOTHING to do with that, and everything to do with Apocalypse and Jester staging a hostile take-over of the Hostess Corporation, thus gaining control of the entire world's Twinkie supply. Normally that kind of thing is just WAY out of reach of your average runner, but when your drinking buddy is a dragon, well, things can get interesting.

Well, first of all I would like to thank everybody for welcoming me to the Pub. If I think of anything to ask I will. I will try to be more specific. Thanks for explaining the whole (Twinkie) thing to me. Thanks to my wonderful fiancee ambarrising me, lol, But it's all  good I know he was trying to do a good deed. As far as buying everyone a beer, let me know what time and where. As we speak I have ponyed up my credstick and ready to go ;D
