When it comes to jobs, it's now about what you know- it's about how much they think you know. If they think you know a lot, then you'll be the problem solver and the wiz kid. If they don't think you know enough, then they'll never utilize your talents.

The object is to let them know that you have more information, and never tell them you don't know how to do something.

Well I might've gotten myself in over my head, but so far I'm surviving with my head just above water.  They've enjoyed everything I've done, and I haven't gotten a compliant yet.  I got about 3000 pages worth of information to memorize that will help me tremendously.  But my rescue will be when I start taking classes to get Certified.

I have a question. If Fuzzy is the fixer, why did we meet him in place of the Johnson? No face to face meet?

And in response to your OOC Krazi. I'm cool with Fuzzy. It's business for him. Besides I don't see a threat in what he said.

Well, I plan on investing some of my hard-earned illegal funding in finding out who is pulling the strings, and who wants this girl dead.

I'm also curious how much someone else would pay to keep this girl alive. ;D But we'll leave double-crosses for another run and another character. Patch doesn't go back on a deal, although he's not really comfortable making a deal without all the details.

So, is Fuzzy leaving so we can discuss business, or... ?

Yeah I was sorta leaving it up to any last minute questions you guys might've had.  If there is none then Fuzzy will excuse himself.

2 questions.

1 In Patch's latest post, the timestamp is inaccurate. Ok, that wasn't a question.

2 In Patch's latest post, he takes a credstick and checks the balance. But isn't Patch the one only takes cash?

Very true Curris, in fact I gave you a karma for it.  Patch is the one that only takes cash, and if I forgot to mention the cash on the table I'll be sure to go back and make an edit!

Actually, I think you did, but I was half-asleep when I wrote that post, so I missed that the cash was for me.

I edited my post, so months from now, when people look over this thread they'll be like "Wait, he took the cash... what is that guy talking about?!?!"

MUAHAHAHAH!

But they will read the OOC post and see you edited the info. LOL

Sorry for the delay in posts, I hardly slept last night, was on the go all day, and then when I got home and thought I could relax... there was some killer drek on Nike's computer that I just now was able to eliminate.  Don't ask me exactly how or what I was battling, but it's all gone now and I'm happy!

No problem, just as an update (even though this should be in the Tech section), I still had errors on it when I started it up when I woke up.  But thanks to (here comes the free marketing) SpyBot Search & Destroy, I was able to successfully remove everything dangerous on the machine.  Including a very interesting registery issue that was actually deactivating my Virus Scan and Firewall.

Anyway back to Shadowrun, so yeah it's like 3 in the morning, I'm still frickin exhausted, but I'm gonna post something (honestly I don't remember without looking where we left off), and get this rolling again.  I appreciate everyone being so patient with me, I hope I can make it worth it!

So are we waiting on Curris?  Isn't he out of town for a few days?  You know Nike this would be a good time to work on your roleplay some ;)
