Seriously, a Thundercats movie- I'm a little terrified that it'll suck (from what I've heard about it before), but I am pretty thrilled with the latest rumor I've heard.

The guy who was responsible for the look and feel of Gears of War (if you haven't played it, please do yourself a favor and do so immediately) is in charge of this movie. It'll be his first time with a big-screen production, but if the gritty awesome realism of the game is any indicator, this movie is going to kick so much ass that I'll cry.

wait...are you serious? Man, I'm skeptical about this already. I use to watch that show all the time as a kid. When Tunami replayed it for the first time I watched it...ruined my childhood.  :-\ Welp, here's hoping

Dude, have you even played Gears of War? That game is awesome.

If this movie is half as awesome as that game... man, I'll buy a copy and make all of my friends watch it. Just like Firefly.

Never seen Firefly nor have I played Gears of War, but I'll give it a shot if you say it's worth it.

I have to wait to see some kind of preview. I haven't played gears of war but I've seen it being played. Killer game

Yeah, if you're interested in trying new things, find someone who has Firefly and borrow it. If you like the show, even a little, you'll love the movie, Serenity, but I would recommend watching the show first. After you've seen the movie, there are... some major changes... yeah.

Gears of War is the first game I've been impressed with in a long time- it has an original storyline, incredible graphics, and actually manages to pull off the gritty realism that so many games try for.

plus there are some parts of the plot in the moive you wont get if you dont watch the series

Ok I almost watched Serenity the other night on one of the movie channels but I watched Crank instead  ::)

Seriously? Ouch.

I liked most of the actors in Crank (Amy Smart is hot, and Jason Statham is pretty damn cool), but it was still ... a little uneven. Like people who did meth and couldn't find anything to do wrote that movie.

I did think it was cool that he died at the end, though.

Well I think the movie is awesome.  That's how I'd want to go out.  But don't smite me for not knowing what Serenity is/was... I will make a point to watch it as soon as possible.

You'd want to go out poisoned by the partners who double-crossed you? Or do you mean jumping out of the plane without a chute, and dying before you hit the ground?

Me, I want to be killed by a meteorite falling from space. None of this pansy "sleeping in my bed" stuff.
And no space trash, either.

Ouija, enjoy Serenity. It's a very cool movie. The show, Firefly is the history before the movie, but you can enjoy the movie without having seen the show.
