The Bourne Ultimatum
« on: October 17, 2007, 08:49:35 AM »

So I'm thinking about going to see this today since I'm off of work.  I didn't see any other topics about it on my very quick scan.  Any comments?  ???  I personally find him much like a runner where as he doesn't always seem to have just what he needs, instead he has to actually make do with what he's got.  Or simply "borrow" it!  Where as the Bond-type movies he always seems to have what he needs, no matter how exotic.

Yeah, it was actually a great movie- the only complaint that I had about it was that everything seemed to come easier to him in this movie than in the first two.

I loved the entire New York sequence, and him beating that guy's ass with a book was cool.

Enjoy.

Well I ran my surveillance earlier in preparation for watching it tonight.  Everything seemed clear and I was able to scout a couple different routes.  But in light of the uproar of Serenity I'm thinking I might go buy it tonight instead and watch it.  Any thoughts? :-X

Sneaking into a movie theater is cheaper than paying.

Well paying wasn't a problem, it was pretty good.  Not quite what I was expecting, but I still liked it.  I spent most of the time looking over my shoulder in fear that I was going to be smited for not watching Serenity instead! (No just kidding) So yeah that movie is next on my list now.

I thought that car crash toward the end was pretty spectacular.

It was funny that they started in ... I guess, middle of the second movie, where he escapes into anonymity in russia. I wasn't sure what was going on, because I remembered the end of the second movie (the name they gave the main character is the exact same as my cousin. I'm related to Jason Bourne!!!), and it was a little confusing.

I did like that they changed the situation, so that when you saw what you thought was one thing at the end of the second movie, it was something completely different when you saw it in this movie. I did like that.

Yeah pretty cool, I like that about movies.  Similar to the Saw movies.
