Semi-Glorious Return!

Hey Everyone,

  I know you've all missed me, since I haven't had internet at my apartment since... well, ever, and now I finally have some interwebs stuff to do.

What is everyone up to? Ingo, did you get into that EMT class stuff? ROOTless, how's life in your program- are you done with it yet? Apoc, what happened with you? We want our neighborhood dragon! Ruski, how abouts you let everyone know what life as a LoneStar cop is really like? Jester- what's the haps? Gabe, where are you? Zone, how is the lady of drones?

I was posting on another forum, and I came across a few old toys. ;D
I saw these, and they made me feel happy about my Shadowrun Pub buddies.


So, that's my round-about way of asking how everyone is. Let's get some old faces and new people in here!

I still check on a daily basis but I've kind of run out of things to say.

I've been thinking about what to do to get the board active again but my ideas are failing me.

I say we just keep posting about our lives and stuff, and eventually we'll find something worth talking about (or get better in supporting the forum with our nonsense).

How's the Island Empire treating you?

I'm doing alright but keeping busy with work and school. I've been working on my MBA plus I have some more management training in my job.

I'm good- I applied for Loma Linda University to finish my Bachelor's in Science, and I'm working lots of hours as an EMT, as well as setting up a ridealong program for them with new EMTs from a local college. So that's all good things.

I played SR 4th edition a couple of times, but the truly unpleasant guy was the one who kept trying to get everyone into it, so we didn't get far with trying out the new ruleset. Actually, that's not true- my friend Noah made conversion rules for Star Wars with the d20 rules, which was a lot of fun, but also didn't get very far.

Currently I'm running games at a game shop here in Riverside, which they seem to like very much. So I DM a lot of Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition, which I really like. We don't play a lot of Shadowrun anymore, which I miss.

Or was that translated from "year 9-12" to "high schoolers" for us Yanks?

Congrats on being a Master of Science. ;D

Ingo, you should move closer to SoCal if you're going into EMS- there's five hundred hospitals down here, so if you're driving from one hospital to another, a company like mine makes good cake on it. Plus, then you could game with us.
