Okay, gone back to finish Skyrim, if that's even possible in the game with no end.  I did go back to the thief quest, and again, would definitely offered a few more dialog choices than they do, hate feeling herded even in a gaming scenario, but must say the dwarven ruin you can see only if you do the quest was pretty cool. Gotta give Bathesda props for their art department because the scenery is absolutely fabulous.  The coders, however should be slapped about for the buggy quests, some of which can be bad enough so you are never going to be able to finish said quest if the bug bites.  I had to ditch my original fighter type and restart because of crashed quests.
Once I have the last of the magic words, I'll go for the end game, and since now my tank character is 100% with swords, I think she's gonna do okay in a fight.

Good luck!

I'm just about done with Hitman: World of Assassination.
For a relevant value of 'done'. ;)

Officially down with all three Lego Batman?s. Deciding if should do Lord of the Rings Lego or Marvel Lego. Thoughts?

Still slogging away on the skyrim endgame,  they keep throwing minor quests at me as we get toward the end and I don't think I'm capable of ignoring all those side quests - ALL MUST BE COMPLETE!  Still that seems like my issue, but I just did manage to find the bloody elder scroll and am toting this fantasy medieval version of a tac nuke about in my back pocket now.  I finally figured out who my character avatar reminds me of though, Carrie Anne Moss. I suppose that's kick ass enough for an video game.

Not bad indeed.

And it's my understanding that you're supposed to be tempted by all of those side quests!

Not a question of temptation, I may not be 100% completionist, but very nearly, to the point where if I know there is a pointless quest dished out at encounter Q, I will do my level best to avoid encounter Q rather than go there get the quest and then just ignore it.  If I get it gotta do it.
There is one quest I accidentally picked up where one has to collect 20 odd random stones, and there is no map marking for it, they are just randomly scattered, but I had to find all of them; and then when I did, the reward was the continuing discovery of so many gems on quests that I can't sell them all. There is a dresser in each house that is chock full of superfluous gems, yet I finished the damn quest!
Right now I'm going around and pissing off Daedric (immortals from the abyss) princes by not becoming a follower and just wiping out those that are - probably not going to be any consequences for this either, other than picking up some cool weaponry to put on display.  I can finish quest my own way, ignoring the predetermined path occasionally, especially when I know I could have written the story better  ;)

Joy!

Actually, that seems a bit silly.

Ummmm-
which part, or is that an all inclusive condemnation?

Finally got the the time shift bit completed, why is there always a time shift/jump/tear in these things? I think I may be on the end game now, but knowing Bethesda, the end game may meander for quite some time.  The first major speed bump is going out and capturing a dragon...the premise is, of course, dragons and my character don't really get along, what  with the whole killing each other thing, so this should be a piece of cake.

Putting all of the rewards at a point where they are irrelevant.

Agreed.  Not only irrelevant but vaguely annoying.  45 diamonds, 36 rubies, 27 sapphires, and countless garnets and amethysts in your pocket tend to add up weight wise.

So finished the main quest in Skyrim, finally. Bit of an anti climax really, not one bit of good loot - the body just disintegrated and you go nothing but a dead dragon in a spirit realm you also got no good loot from.  You'd think offing something called devourer of worlds would net you a cool sling shot or maybe a pack of gum - something. You can just go on back to doing quests after and that's fine, but I think it's time to learn a new game.
