*waves* Heyya people! long time no see!

Hope everything has been going well, things have been well enough for me.

Just thought i'd peek on the board, and offer up some things i've done while im bored lately. The newest being..

Here

Having some trouble getting it to show the file.. So.. Meh.

Just fancy sort of looking.. yet somehow plain looking rifle..

Mainly i doodle out melee weapons.. ANd if you wanna see the stuff i've done (plus a couple blank character sheets for various RPGs in doc format) you can find it at,

Im always looking for suggestions on things someone might like to see drawn up, alot of them up there are stuff people have suggested, so if something comes to mind, give me a description and i'll do my best!

Ok, cant get the damn link to work in either way. The link to Deviant art wont show, and just cant get it to attach the photo link, though i can work it fine on other forums and such.. SO... No idea;(

heheh, i get bored..

So just kinda start putting them together a pixel at a time there about.

problem is i cant really draw much else, characters and such just cant quite get the hang of:(

Much like rhythm, art is supposedly 'can do it or not,' but it just takes practice.

heh, people have been telling me i just need practice on drawing people for the last.... 10 years+ no hyperbola. not a bit of advancement on it. even using guides, books, and a person who is excellent at teaching trying (they think their skill was somehow damaged when they were done, and i dont doubt :P )

Fixed?

Apparently it was a bug introduced with forum software version 1.1.11.  It was fixed, but the patched version was named the same file name (version 1.1.11).  So if you got the bug, as we did, your forum software thought you were already up to date.  What they should have done is call it 1.1.12 or 1.1.11a or something, so the update utility would do its job properly.  Subsequent patches didn't touch the bugged file so it stuck for a while.  I had been digging into it for a while here and there, and after Kid's reprimand I decided to look once more and I think I found it.  

For those who are curious, to fix the bug I had to edit a php file and replace instances of || with &&.  It's so simple it's stupid, haha.

welllllllllllllllllll.....................

I wouldnt say i play it... SO much as i buy the books and weep at the amount of money i spent on it never having been able to play it... Then proceed to buy more books anyway because of the small insane hope..

heheh.

I prefer the 1st edition the most really..

The big turn off of second edition was the speed on weapons, where certian weapons only get to attack on certian "ticks" so regardless of how your character is built/trains, their weapon is more of a restriction in fighting then a help. Yeah, i understand that it helps keep someone from wielding a pair of giant ass hammers and power gaming.. BUt it also kinda removes some of the "Your an exalt, if you put your mind to it you can do anything!" feel.

That no matter how much your character trains, practices, channels the freaking Essence of creation, this weapons only going to get to attack at this time, and this time only.

I seem to remember ways to get "giant ass hammers" to speed 3 - best normally allowed - so that doesn't bother me too much actually :)
Do agree that practice/training should've had an impact.
