A gun is a gun
« on: May 21, 2012, 11:33:51 PM »

So I am reading Gun Heaven 2 and there flavor text like this gun malfunctions a lot.  I like this it really reminds me of the second edition books (even some of the first) where there were quotes about the equipment in question.  I realized though that it just flavor text because there no critical failure or way to demonstrate the drawbacks in the flavor text.   Anybody got some thoughts on this?

just throw it in with any glitch.
malfunction drills are something people who live by the gun practice. I.E. someone with a (gun) skill of 3+
so you can clear a missfire if you practise regular like. otherwise you've got a hunk of 'gonna get yourself killed' in your hand.

Yeah makes sense. As far as glitches go if you are rolling a decent amount of dice your chances of getting a glitch is low.  One can say that because of their skill the know about taking care of their equipment to keep in in working order.
