Where is Root?

Time to check is with some of the oldies to the pub.

How or where is everyone these days?

I finally made it back to the States.
Family and I are doing well and loving to be back.
Been almost a year for me!

Welcome back.

About half the people who were here when I came on board lo these many years ago have vanished into reality, Root, Flip, Gabe, all been gone for years now.  All things considered, however, the Pub has amazing staying power.  The other little lightly populated site I used to frequent went belly up a couple of years ago

Seems like every couple of years someone pops in for a cameo and ends up sticking around for a year or so.

The Pub is resilient in a good way. I most hang in the shadows just watching the posts.

I knew Gabe and Flip are gone but Root was still posting when I took my break.

Glad to see many others are still here

Last I heard, ROOTless was taking a break from the Pub to finish his master thesis or something like that. In my experience, taking a break from something like this means leaving, finding something else to fill that time, and never coming back.

Thanks to Jester (also MIA), I have Gabe as a facebook friend. We trade insults occasionally.
