So... Yeah. Character

SO finally finished making a character with chummer.. Kinda.. Was wondering if you guys could go along, peek through it, and tell me what ya think?

Havent got a background full background yet.. But basicly comes from human/orc family, father human, mother orc, 3 siblings, 2 brothers went orc, himself and a brother remained human. After a while his father and mother seperated after his father got caught up in a bunch of humanis Drek, trying to take Keter along with, but he refused staying with his mother and 2 brothers. Life continued on for a while, Andrich, the eldest brother began training as a doctor, the middle brother Brandon supported the family falling in with one of the local minor gangs, Alexander himself simply helping out wherever he could.  Things fell apart when his father egged on by a new Humanis girlfriend tried to "clean-up" his mess by taking out his old family. On a rampage he attacked their own home driving his car through the front of the house killing their mother and destroying one of Alex's arms, though both required replacements for some reason. The attack ended with Alex and his remaining brothers leaving the City moving towards Seattle.

Andrich took up working as a street doctor, Brandon moving in with one of the bigger gangs of the area, and Keter himself beginning to work the shadows to help pay back the debts the brothers had built up while moving and in Alexanders surgeries.. (In-debt: 25000 to the Vory)

The brothers remain close in contact, calling each other for favors when needed for themselves or their friends, Alex relying heavily on Andrich as his body being Type O puts him in a dangerous situation when going to a less reliable doctor..

You have a pretty good concept here, but there's little bits and pieces I would suggest;

You have skills spread around, rather than focusing on a few things. A dice pool of 2 for throwing weapons isn't going to get you much- you're more likely to glitch than to hit anything. I'd concentrate on a few core skills, see if you can get your dice pool up to 10+, which is really good. (I've seen dice pools in the 30s for starting characters, with social skills and such, but 10+ is my benchmark for someone wanting to be really good at something).

I like the dodge scoot as a vehicle, it says to me "I spent everything I could on cyberwear and gear, but I'm a veteran enough player to know that I need a vehicle rather than just relying on the bus!"

Your agility and reaction are both hampered by the fact that Chummer equips whatever armor you buy, AND gives you penalty for encumbrance. Make sure you're not wearing everything you own, and your agility and reaction should come back up. If they're not, I'd suggest layering some form fitting body armor under some low-grade armor and sticking with that. A lot of people pick up the Zoe second skin suit, but I feel weird imagining people walking around in a skin tight leotard, so I tend to bulk up on armor.

Adding an operating system on your commlink will give you a firewall and system rating, which are useful. If in doubt (or short on cash), just get the disposable commlink OS, which is practically free.

The lifestyle stuff seems like a hodge-podge of qualities with no real benefit or drawback. Why not make it an affliated residence, meaning that it's in an area controlled by gangs? Or make it have a little less matrix or astral privacy? I also like 'this isn't big bob's auto,' because it's flavor-ful without complicating things.

Thanks for the advice, i'll give it another go through. One thing i noticed is that chummer doesnt change essence cost for Type O systems, still counts essence as normal.. And its dinging my agility cause of my cyber arms it says. Had to buy agility enhancements since he is more agile then the arms normally come.

His fighting style is.. well.. Pistol specialist, tends to use 2 pistols with an assortment of ammo, regular rounds, hollow points, Gels, ect. Kinda like Green arrow.. Just with bullets. And back up shotgun/assault rifle for when things get really hairy. Also good specialization in melee combat, will admit when i picture him fighting i kinda see a little deadpool in there..

The "Crowley Estates" was just kinda mishmashed together. Its in the middle of a gangs territory, and alot of the bigguns have family living there, Keter spends a portion of his time working "security" as the place has a weird habit of attracting things like ghouls and critters on occasion, and as he is fairly capable at fighting he gets a good bit of slack in working clean up there. He gets a bonus to his armour skill (i think) from the feng shui bit.. Even had little story behind it, cant find the exact at the moment.. but..

Originally the place housed a technomancer who cracked the access to the matrix (free access). Unfortinatly they attracted the attention of a small AI which got stuck in the houses systems, and while not to much of a problem its wandering around the nets have wracked up bad bills and such (no forwarding address) that the inhabitants have to deal with on occasion, there was even a time someone broke into his flat while trying to collect money and pissed on his rug.

Unfortinatly for the inhabitants the place has a bit of a dark history, corrupted Lines attracts critters and nasty things (haunted) which Keter is partly "employed" to help take care of. Figure leave it open as some sort of adventure hook thing you know?

And yeah.. heh, the scooter... I threw it in as an after thought in as "At least he can get around on his own", and actually something he is himself almost obscenely proud of, expecially as he stuffed in a rating 2 turbo charger..

And just loaded new "improved" sheet.. so will repost in a second here..
