Ha ha! I do agree with Root though. Once you pass 40 then things start to break down. A lot of “I didn’t know I could have pains there” and “what the hell did I do to hurt myself, all I did was literally sit down”.

Ppfftt. amateurs. Ive been getting those for more then a decade already.

If anything from exercising more and eating better ive felt in better condition then i have in a while.. though could do much better.

Issue for me is as joked, milage. Lots of injuries and they all accumulate. Specially when the company fucks you over on disability assistance or everything else they can.

Least megacorps take care of their employees.

Meanwhile around the soy cafe machine, he just left and retired without saying anything to anybody, hope he’s enjoying his retirement.

Friggin hell!!! Tacoma and rest of washington are/were melting!!

Its cooled down to about 85... but still thats high for us.

Hope the rest of you guys remembered to upgrade your decks cooking systems and packed your meatbods in ice before going for a swim in the Trix.

Serious wise hope all of you have some decent weather and are keeping safe!

Ha, ill take 85. For the weekend it was about 100-110f. 85 is about 10 higher then usual give or take. Not pleasant, but by comparison its good. And yeah. Making special care to hydrate, power went out while sleeping and room got up way to high without me waking up for several hours (hazard of undergound apartment by boilers.. without ac it cooks) thankfully i dont pay for power so that sucker us on 24/7!!!

Where I'm at it hits over 100 for days at a time at least 3 times each summer season.

Good insulation and AC is a must. I think that's what messed up a lot of folks in the north west, they almost never get super hot temps so there isn't a need to have an AC unit.

Sorry to hear about the troubles over there. Makes me glad to be in the Midwest even if we have unpredictable weather. The weather report in Chicago will show it’s sunny when it’s a thunderstorm overhead. But wait 30 mins then it’ll be accurate.

According to google, no temperature higher that 97.52 F has ever been measured in this country...

EDIT: and I'm pretty much a vegetable once we hit 70-75 F or so...

It hasn't gone that low in decades mind you, global warming is a thing.

And it's (at least in part) because we only have small amounts of land with lots of coastline. Which means that the temperature is much more stable across the year than somewhere where you have a large continental area, like continental US. IIRC.
