i'll admit, i found myself kinda partial and hopeful for London, specially seeing as it kinda read something like Unhallowed metropolis, and would have allowed me to use some comission art i got for UM in SR.. :3

Looked at the art, definitely cool.  Not a big fan of the stylized "WoW" art as people are calling it.  It looks cool and all, but not very dangerous.

Also, while reading through the comments I've come across many instances of my SR pet peeve: When people write "ShadowRun"

I have never seen an official SR logo written that way.

Not based on SR, it was a strait-to-dvd movie released in the UK in 1998.  Due to that status I'd imagine exposure would be limited, and I don't understand how this could be the source since it's not based on the SR universe.


Both 1st and 2nd editions used the Shadowrun logo over a ram's skull that we remember.  There is no more emphasis on the R than any other letter.  Both SNES and Sega Genesis video games used the same logo as SR1/SR2 books had.  We probably remember SR3's logo, and now SR4's logo, neither of which put any more emphasis on the R than any other letter.  So why do people insist on "ShadowRun"?  I understand it's a compound of 2 words, but we don't write "ConJunction" or "FootBall" or "BlackBoard".

Where the heck does it come from?

I don't know why it bothers me so much!

I think it partially because people are referring to it as SR in shorthand or abbreviated form.  I mean I know I do but I am looking forward to Shadowrun Returns I am hoping to have a little money to buy it when it comes out.  I was also excited to hear that there was going to be a Map Editor for the game.  So Kid we going to get a special Shadowrun Returns Game of our own?

Tutorials for making your own runs have started started showing up on youtube, so you can get a preview of what it will be like once you pick up the game at the end of June!

Yeah, I was emailing Harebrained about the early release of the toolset (which I, sadly, did not get access to), and they said that they were planning a June release, and then four days later the official announcement came down that they were releasing July 25th.

I'm looking forward to it!
