I like Nick Cage. I like that he loves comic books, and that he keeps pushing to get non-spiderman comic movies made.
Ghostrider... is a difficult one, though, because you have to take the main character, and split him into two seperate entities and still have them be the same person. Ghostrider in the comic is the main character, and Johnny Blaze is kind of a weenie. Blaze can't control anything that Ghostrider does, his only power is to turn into him. Which has to be a little painful, because he actually FEELS the flames burning his face off of his skull.
But Ghostrider LIKES being himself. He loves his job. And he's all those things about Johnny Blaze (or anyone) that they supress- he's a jerk, he's rude, he destroys things, and he cheats to win.
I'll let you know once I see the movie, but I'll admit that I'm biased to like it because they went to all the effort to make it, and to make it good. I have no love for comic book movies they crank out and expect me to eat up.
