And so it ends... our runners are all long gone by the time the next shift clerk arrives, promptly vomiting all over himself at the smell of corpses, shit,  melting plastic, and ozone. It takes him a little while to get ahold of himself, long enough to call corporate security.

Within a few hours of the robbers, there are five black vans pulled up in front of the place, cleaning every inch of it as if it were a police crime scene. After several hours, the vans leave, and the store is... the store is completely remodeled. Bright new lights shone down on a freshly waxed linoleum floor, the shelving has been replaced, and the modified C@FP0W! Machine has been taken back to corporate headquarters for research.

By morning, they've already hired four new employees, and had them watch the mandatory training videos, including the cheesy one about sexual harassment that everyone laughs at. Inside of a week, no one even remembers that there was an incident.

And so life goes on in the shadows...
