I got in!

Okay, I know this may not be a big deal for a lot of you, but I've been sweating over it for like a year now, so it's a pretty big deal for me.

I applied to Loma Linda, a medical university in Southern California. It's a private university, known for it's cutting-edge medical science and highly trained professionals. I'm applying to the school of cardio-pulmonary science, for a bachelor's degree in science.

I got in! I start school... like next week!

Yeah, I'm really glad that I've gotten this far. It wouldn't have been without my friends and family, that's for sure, but you Pubbers helped, too. ;D

Thanks, guys. This has been a hectic week (or couple of weeks). Since I'm a late acceptance (I didn't know a few details of my application were missing until they called me and asked if I was still interested in applying), I've been scrambling to get all of my requirements done- which include upping my 10 year immunizations (measles/mumps/rubella, typhoid, diptheria, tetanus) and scrambling through getting books and registered.

Anyway, this past week, I finally got my student ID, and of all times, THAT was when it hit me that I really got in. This isn't just a pipe dream or anything, and even if I fail, I'll be able to say that I tried.

It's a really good feeling.

Super belated Congratulations! I got into Illinois State University in January. (Not difficult, but I finally did it after much filibustering).

So, you're getting a Bachelor's in Science. Is that medical Science in specific, or generalist?

Emergency Medical Care, the study of the emergency medical system (Emergency room usage, and pre-hospital care), and all that stuff. It's interesting, but really study-intensive.
