This thread is for a specific purpose- it is to chronicle the ways in which real life has decided to follow art and imitate Shadowrun. For instance, in Wired a few years ago, there was an article about actual cybereyes.

American researchers took control of a flying drone by "hacking" into its GPS system - acting on a $1,000 (£640) dare from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
