The internet has never had this much screen real-estate for me before.
pages also seem to be loading faster, but that might be all the new-ness playing tricks on me.
anyone else a fan of Google Chrome?

In most tests Firefox > Chrome. Downfall of Firefox is its memory footprint though. For example, currently I have this window open and another tab for Facebook, and Firefox is eating up 109MB of memory. This is a good day, I've had days where I had like 20 tabs open and memory footprint was over 1GB. I'll be very happy when Mozilla org figures out how to reduce this
