I've tried watching all sports, and I've tried playing most of them- I can't say I'm a big fan of baseball- it seems like five minutes of fun for every hour of standing there doing nothing.

Soccer can be exciting, but I was a fullback, so it was the sucks to play.

Rugby is fun. Rock climbing is fun. Jet skis are fun. Mountain biking is too. Motorcycles are the definition of fun... football is fun with friends. Cricket is honestly more fun than baseball, because there's a lot more hitting and running (back and forth! Sticky wickets!), but you do stand there for days at a time waiting for something to happen.

Yeah, that's about my list.

hey, to each his own. Football is my favorite sport. I gotta watch it. I just started watching baseball again a couple years ago. UFC is badass. Gotta love 2 guys in a cage beating the living tar outa each other :)

Can't stand football. And I really don't have any reason why I dislike it, I've just never eally cared to sit down and watch it. I have never been very athletic, so that probably has soemthing to do with it. Anyway, I have found that watching a sport is like a circle-jerk. Lots of action, but not really that much for the observer.

Yeah? Hey Gabe- did you ever watch any sort of football with your parents?

My Dad never watched football, so growing up, I never did either. I did overdose on the Discovery Channel, Nation Geographic, science, and movies though, so those are things that I'm still interested in now.

You see, we are mostly a bunch of RPG playing, computer users. By most definitions, we are nerds. I'm proud of that distinction,as are most others. Probably. So it's natural to reason that our interest in sports is less inclined than Joe Averageman.

No, I didn't watch sports with my family, although my step-father was a RABID football fan. Maybe that explains why I don't watch sprots...

Well, that's what I'm saying.

We grew up with computers, RPGs and stuff like that. Gabe's step-dad was a football fanatic, and I'm assuming that he wasn't as close to his step dad, so he didn't like his step-dad, and therefore didn't like football.

Jester apparently was raised by football fans, so he likes football.

I've gone to one sporting event in my entire life. Rangers baseball game. Rained out. I'm not a big fan of attending sports. I spent many hours in movie theaters with my family, and even now I'm a movie-buff.

lol, actually no. The only thing close to a sport my dad watches is Nascar, and that's just driving in circles. I actually just started watching it with friend one day and got hooked. Been a huge fan ever since. Guess I'm not your stereotypical dork :)

Well I guess I'm just an abnormality in it all.  Cuz I picked up on RPG's by myself, computers by myself, football...well my mom liked football, but I always watched it by myself.  I can't stand baseball, but I don't discriminate on others who do.  So yeah, who knows where I got it from...

Hey, there's a difference between football (or soccer, which you know... you play with your feet) and gridiron football, which... doesn't actually involve feet other than kickoffs... and running.

I'd have to agree with Europe and the rest of the world on this one.
