Well, he did have a car tricked out with gadgets and stuff, so I don't think he becomes the most honorable racer by cheating the least. Of course, we were never really read the racetrack code of conduct, so maybe a car tricked out with gadgets is par for the course.

It did always seem a little dodgy to me that they kept it secret from everyone else.

but how many other racers did you stop to help other racers
how often did you see other racers useing dirty tricks
all the gadgetys on speeds car were for legit reasons
of safty now I will admit some of the device seem unnessarery for ordany raceing like the abilty to drive under water and cut thru trees
the rest tho make good sense

But if you can cut through trees that means you can create your own shortcuts!  Or when someone drops a whole mess of logs on the road you can go through them like a knife through butter!
