I think that's pretty much SOP for the rest of us with the Karma thing as well. I don't have a problem in the least getting negative karma, as long as someone owns up to it. I hate snipers.

Didn't it just end up being like Fortune or someone, who was reading old posts and saw something worth sniping for, and then when we "fixed it" he hit them again?

I seem to remember some chagrin when we finally figured out what was going on.

Yeah, basically. The problem was that someone was reading some older posts, and smote for something that the rest of us had all forgotten about, and didn't say anything about it. So the rest of us applauded that person, which meant that the person reading the older post saw that it didn't stick, and did it again.

It escalated for a while, and then the 'sniper' came clean, I admit, I felt a little dumb for getting involved.

I oftn just forget the bloody option is there.  Although I do remember getting in a huge toungue in cheeck to do once with Gabe (who else) and knew I was heading for a huge smite so I arranged some kinda smite resistence with Ingo.  The details now escape me, but it goes to illustrate how predictable Gabe is  ;D

IIRC, Gabe was like "WTF I smited her so many times and it's not changing!!!" and we kept making remarks about how smitten Gabe was with Zone.  ehehehe that was fun ;)

That's pretty cool, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't weird.  I hooked up with a group I met on Yahoo that was local, but I only played a few sessions with them.  Kinda weird!  :o
