lol, the new star trek movie. Takes place when the original crew were still in there 20's. I think either still in the academy or just getting out of it. Best part is Simon Peg is playing Scotty

I love Simon Pegg. I assume he's going over the top on the accent?
The only other guy I recognize from the cast tho is John Cho, of Harold and Kumar fame.

Haha Simon Pegg AND John Cho? I dunno about you, but I think this movie might end up being more of a comedy than sci-fi

I have no problems with that. Star Trek 4 was a sci-fi comedy.

After looking at it I'm kinda digging the setting. I wonder if there'll be green women for Kirk (Chris Pine) to seduce or be seduced by? Directed by JJ Abrams of all people...kinda wow?
OMG check this out:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0796366/
Lower down on the cast there's a person:
Diora Baird ... The Green Girl
BAHAHA 'the green girl'!!! GO KIRK!

Ah. Accepted is freaking living on HBO right now so now I know. I'll be interested to see how this all comes out. (Obscure Pegg movie of the day: Big Nothing)

You and 50 million other star trek fans.
I'm thrilled with them re-doing Star Trek. I'm excited to see what they do with it.

Has anybody seen the most recent trailer for Star Trek?
Looks pretty good. I like the cast that's playing the characters. Here's the link the site.
