I was reading an article on Bell of Lost Souls, a warhammer web sight, and one of the guys made a twinkie dog. He sliced a twinkie like a bun, put a hot dog in it, and put squeeze cheese on top. Not sure if I wanna try that.

A extremely sweet bun, a salty center, and a tarty covering... ick.  Too many flavors at once!  Eat enough of those and your head will explode trying to figure it out.

we had a cook at IHOP once who Deep fried a Twinkie.

well, when he got bored, he would stick literally anything in the fryer.

also good: deep fried Snickers.

yeah, a little bit, but he breaded it first (we bread our own fish for fridays there), so it stayed within the breading.

I've had many deep friend foods- we go to the county fair with friends every few years, and they have some very interesting tidbits to try.

Deep fried snickers are a lot of fun- everything good about a snickers bar, melted inside a corndog-esque husk.

I was not impressed by the deep fried twinkies. The first time I got it, it was just an oily twinkie, the second time... it was less oily, but still not good.

Last time, I did have ice cream that was 30% butter fat. It was very filling.
