The contreversy, as I understand it, came from some people disiding that the bag Tinky Winky was carrying was a purse. And since everyone assumed the telletubies were boys, they made the connection that Tinky Winky was gay. Needles to say, this pissed of the retarded morons that make up about 50% or our great nation. Nevermind that the teletubies are androgynous or that little boys play with dolls (we call them action figures) as much as girls do. Oh, and forget that fact that little children don't really make a distinction between genders at that age, focussing more on loving affection than anything else. They just got pissed that some fagget muppet was parading around with a purse.
Sometimes I really do weep for this country.
