Actually, IBC, like most American corporations was bought up by megacorps in an effort to seem "more american" to UCAS consumers (still the largest consumers on the planet).

If they go under, like the dod. ;D I mean, dodo, then someone else will buy the right to the twinkie name and continue producing them until Jester and Apoc buy out the rights in 2063. Or whenever.
