It's alright. at least they didn't get you right?

and, if it makes you feel a little better, your buddy was surrounded by paranoid runners when your 'parrent' company came a-callin, so he got out alright; but the runners are none-too-happy, and you may owe your friend a favor for having his shop burned down. (then again, who's to say that he would know it was your fault? for all he knows it could have been the runners own heat that got called down on them)

Yeah, I know that trying to save people almost got us killed, but honestly, I like to think that some Shadowrunners are heroes in thier own way. Now, Jazzman, the guy I'm playing now, isn't a bad guy. He's not hardcore, and he's not what most people would consider a 'serious runner.'

I don't think I could start a riot and get people killed to cover my own ass... I'm just not that cold, no matter what it meant. I'd rather do a run super-quiet, than loud enough that I have to cover my tracks.

(as in "Hey, have you seen the briefcase that was here yesterday? I thought I left it here...")

but without a high 'gun' skill, he's going to be hard pressed to find himself in a killing situation. even his martial arts background won't make it easy to kill someone. he'd have to beat the crap out of them, and then TRY to kill them, once they were incapacitated.

A lot of the people that I run with tend to make PC's that work allong thoes same lines. although there are a handfull of A-Moral SOB's in the mix; they don't tend to be the masterminds. but they do add flavor to the runs, that's for sure.
