Actually, the Play by post dosn't boost much in the way of post-count.

mostly, unless you are the GM you are only going to be posting once, maybe twice a day there.

if you posted twice a day into that thread, every day, that would be a year and a half untill you hit the glorious 1,000 mark.

.However, that being said, the Play by post is a fun way to waste time and dirrect your imagination. I personally enjoy the fan-fiction sections as a way to relax (and boost your post count) if you are looking to get bragging rights and contribute to the board at the same time.
