As for the book, that sounds a lot like the scam in Dragon Heart. I liked how it worked in the movie, so I assume I would like how it worked inthe book. Oh, and did you ever ready any Barbara Hambly books, AJ???

Barbra Hambly...I'm pretty sure I've read at least something by her.  She wrote a couple Star Wars books right?

Actually, I'm not really sure. But you mentioned posioned lances for killnig dragons. She wrote a book a long time back titled, appropriately enouhg, Dragonsbane in which a courtier travels to find the only living dragonsbane in the kingdom. When he finds the guy, he is shocked and dissapointed to find that the way he killed the dragon was sneaking up on it and killing it with a bunch of poisoned harpoons. It was a good book, especially for being written in the 80's.

It's pretty good. If you have some spare time and nothing else you are pursuing at the moment, you might want to give it a read. Personally, i dont' think it was here best, but still pretty good. Darkmage was better, but then, I like books about computer nerds in the early 80's.
