The Pub will not die without a fight.

As far as I can tell, there's been a post in the pub every year since '98. Back when we had that awful thread based thing that I can't even remember the name of. The pub has been around for 18 god damn years. It can now legally buy cigarettes.

As such, it deserves a post for 2017, and I'm going to be the one to do it. So long as the back end server is online, I will make it a resolution to update this place at least once every year until the end of time.

I tried to tag Ingo and Apoc in the facebook post, but I don't know if they're members of the Shadowrunner's Union.

It was a fun trip down memory lane- the Shadowrun webring, Dumpshock, and all the old hangouts. I have a lot of fun memories tied up in this place.

So long as I can remember my password here, I shall endeavor to come by at least every few months and check in.  I, too, have a lot of memories tied up in this place.  I did some of my best vicious heckling here once upon a time  8)

Outside forces attack.
Anyone at the pub who was using photobucket will no longer be able to access the images hosted there without paying ransom.  It is, as I understand it, a total clusterpork, but people like you, Kid, if at all interested, will have to come up with a new avatar, since your old one is gone b'bye.

ACK! My avatar is gone! My Avatar loyal for what? A decade or more *sob*  How do I get the fraggin' uggo thing off  my avatar spot and a new pic in...it's been so long since I did any editing here.  Thought it was safe since one of you all put her up for me lo these many years ago and she survived the disappearance of the Kid's, *sigh*

Wow, hey, Ruski and Root, they still live :)  This is like an old Shadowrun Memorial Park we wander through from time to time and bump into only runners we thought were long gone.  How nice they ain't.

Looks like you hosted your Avatar on Photobucket and it got removed or blocked and something. Do you have the file somewhere else?

And I'm still alive. And I haven't needed any new chrome in recent years either. ;)

Root, dahling, yes I believe that's what happened, but see I never posted an avatar for myself.  One of the clever cyber fellows did that long ago, Flipside maybe (can't recall) and so I had no idea who hosted it or even how to put one up. (Cyber stuff *pfah* can't shoot nuthin' with it). I believe there is an option to ignore avatars, and that seems the best plan now since there are so many of the photobucket casualties about flying their ugly ransom banners.
