Well, the new Excalibur sucks big troll schlong. I recentely picked up a graphic novel of the Exiles and it's pretty good so far. There's not much character development in it at all, but the art is consitent and, well, I have to say that blue chicks with tails and pointy ears just plane turn me on. ;)

I think he's refering to Talia Wagner: the daughter of alternate versions of Kurt and Wanda.

And I haven't read any of the current Excalibur books, but I have 1-103 plus annuals/special editions of the first series.

And yeha, I am talking about Nocturne, the alternate timeline Nightcrawler Jr. Mrs. They draw that character pretty hot. Of course, she pops up in the New Excalibur series and whoever is writing that series has de-balled her quite a bit. In fact, all of the heroes in the new team have been castrated. Hell, even the Juggernaut is appoligizing for knocking things over. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT?????

Anyway, i really like the original series, but the 2 new attempts to revive it just plane sucked.

Juggernaut showed up in an early first series issue.  3 or 4 I think.  Captain Britain tries to take him on, gets beat up, and before Meggan can try, Shadowcat phases her to let Rachel psiblast Juggernaut.

Oh... maybe I did read those... was that the series where the fish-boy joined the school, and then Xavier asked Cain (Jugg's real name) to be a teacher?

If I recall correctly, that series sucked something terrible.

As for the plot of X4... I've heard that X3: The Last Stand is the last of the movies that will contain those characters (if you've seen the movie you'll know why), so if they make another movie then they will probably focus on some new characters, or the newer characters that were introduced in X3.  Beast certainly would be up for an appearance in X4, should it be made.

Also, Hugh Jackman has signed on for a spin-off movie called (surprise) Wolverine, which IMDB indicates has Wolverine trying to find out more about his past.  In it, he meets Gambit and also finds out that Sabretooth didn't die when he flew out of the Statue of Liberty.  Sounds like it could be cool.

Yeah, that was the original series. And boy did Captain Britain get slitch-slapped. As for the New Excalibur, yeah, it sucks big troll poll.

And you know, I really liked Beast in X3. I was worried that Kelsy Grammer wouldn't be able to pull it off, but I think he did great. The scenes at the end when all hell breaks loose and Beast and Wolverine are fighting next to each other were really well-done as far as the Beat's super agility angle goes. And I have to say, Shadowcat rocked! Except for the crappy purple piping in here uniform. That looked a little "Rasberry Beret" if you know what I man.

Purple?  Looked pink to me.  If it'd been up to me, she'd've had a darker shade of blue.  Or maybe grey.
