Sadly, I have yet to acheive 1/5 the requisite posts for this landmark, amazing really since I've been here longer than anyone but Ingo and Apoc.  I gues I'm just more profound than verbose.  ;D

Yeah, I think that's the default time for everyone who joined before that point, actually.

I was meaning the old board, though. I remember some people (like North, Kagemusha, Wildman, Apoc, and Ingo) but the line kind of blurs between the old board and this one, because most of those people didn't make the transfer, and most of us have filtered through here since then.

My first post on the SR Pub was back when aol was still Ingo's host.  Granted I was probably the last post on that board before he moved to bigger and better things, but in the game of senority every minute counts :D

Jester has actually been here longer than me. Ingo, Jester, and then me. Weird how times flies. I joined in Jan/Feb of 1999 I think. Hard to believe that was 7 almost 8 years ago.

that reminds me.  This school year'll be ten years since we broke two local records: cumulative snowfall in the winter, and flood level the following spring.

Ewww... I have family in arizona, and we have a special name for it: The Kitty Litter State. Cause... you know... sand and stuff. It's also approxamately 15 feet from hell, and every major tourist attraction is a hole in the ground.

The Flagstaff Area is nice, and I like the Tucson area too, but yes, Phoenix is indeed a gateway to hell.
