I thought that thing ran a bit longer. In fact, they even said, "Stay tuned for more Heroes." and I thought they were showing a second episode, but it was just that extra few minutes.

didn't notice. About glasses, I don't think he's a "bad guy". He's part of a government agency designed to cover up and contain any mutant activity. If that means some people have to die, so be it. I absolutly believe that he is not working with Syler. In fact it's possible he's trying to stop him also. Glasses is one of those misunderstood red herring charecters. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion

I don't know, Jester, I think the guy is pretty evil, but you may be right that he may not be a "bad guy" per se. After all, you don't have to be a "good guy" to work for a good cause, you just have to have the same goals in mind.

Yeah, so did mine.  One of the few reasons I prefer vcr: set it a couple minutes early to a couple minutes after, you don't have to worry about it cutting something off.
yup
its just such a pain in the arse to use a vcr anymore

I didn't say I used one, just that that's one of the few things I miss.

So you can't do that on a DVR? Why not?

Actually. you can. You set it to record for five extra minutes (either start early or end late... or hell... both), b ut basically it's a way for the networks to make sure that you watch all of the show, so you don't miss stuff like that.

well, I have to share the tivo with my brother and parents.  Fortunately, except for some of the animated shows, my brother and I mostly have similar tastes.  My parents don't really use it as much.

problem is I usually check this site about 10-15 mins after I've woken up, so my typing tends to be a bit off more than usual

Well THAT would certainly do it. And damn since you check it after you wake up, and I check it from the office in the morning, all I can say is: I wish I had your work hours, chummer.
