He will. And now you know how he gets that scar that Hiro told him about early on. I'm just wondering when DL is going to kill Jessica off.

Well, last time she was hit in the head, it actually killed her. She didn't come back to life until the ME pulled the stick out of her brain.

Exaclty. One head-shot and that girl is a corpse. In fact, maybe THAT's how Sylar could have killed her, by doing his head-scalpel trick. I never thought of that.

Yup, so Peter actually did save her.

I'm thinking the "save the world," has to do with the fact that Peter began to understand his power, and tried to learn to control it. If Ted had just shown up in New York otherwise, Peter would have nuked the city becaue he couldn't control it.

Or maybe the fact that Bennett is going to take down the company- assuming that they don't kill him for it first.

naaa, I don't think if you shoot her in the ehad she'll die. Something actually has to get stuck in there. But I could be wrong...

I'm thining it has more to do with her brain being able to asses and correct damage. Therfore, if the brain itself is damaged, no healing.

That would make sense to me.. although you have DNA in every single cell in your body, so I don't know why the repair apparatus would have to be neurologically-based.

But whateva. Let's not apply too much hard science to comics, right?

Well, yeah, but if you have your kidnies removed, the pancreas can't tell your body to re-grow the kidneis, right? So just because you have a trait encoded in your DNA doesn't mean you can lose the aparatus of that trait and still be able to use that trait. See what I mean.

Oh I know. That doesn't mean I have to like that. I NEVER liked the idea of Wolverine healing from one cell. That means that for all intents and purposes, he is immortal, and that really takes away from the character.
