so, what's in the headware, and how did it get there?

the decker was blackmailing someone... got paid... and OD'ed  on his reward money? then,... whoever he was blackmailing wanted to make sure that the data dosn't hit the street (seeing as how he already paid for it once...)
or perhaps the decker had a failsafe so he couldn't be killed (shouldn't be killed) so if he dosn't check in once every week then the sensative info goes to the cops... and now that he geeked himself, the blackmailed peeps got a week to track down his failsafes and nutralise them...
hmm...

still,... who had what on whom?
