Unfortunately, they don't make that much money. I mean, they're barbers, for God's sake. Every cent goes into upkeep and personal salaries. It's damn near a nonprofit business. I'm all for the idea, though. Also, however, I don't remember what they're called....
Also, they have no black or Asian customers, which, in that area of Louisiana, must truly hurt their business. Barksdale AFB is right nearby.
My view of racism is a little different from most Americans, having lived in China for a few years. In many countries, friendly -- yes, I mean friendly -- racism goes on all the time. I mean, they don't discriminate against you because you are considered "a damn n***er" or an animal, or someone who has less worth as a human being than a white person, but because almost everyone they see is Chinese. There's bound to be some racism, and even suspicion.
Unfriendly racism is ignorant, malicious, and barely worth my time to consider.
